Gap / 1969 Fitting Rooms
Gap fitting room redesign / In 1969 the first Gap store opened on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. 2009 marked their 40th anniversary, and to celebrate the fitting rooms were redesigned for all stores in the UK and France. The new design was so successful that Gap North America also rolled it out through hundreds of stores.
